If you choose to use home assistant + ha bridge + broadlink. At final stage there are many components that need let’s encrypt which use port 80 on your pi for registration. Then you will end up miss of using many components that home assistant support. Google home application on my iphone see broadlink products, but it see them offline.

Through no related reason, it has stopped controlling the blind, the tv & Sky still work fine. I have a BroadLink RM Pro all set up correctly & was working fine for about 1 month. I will be creating a Scene which will transmit a radio frequency to toggle the Front gate via the Broadlink rm4 Pro.
The switch entities allow you to control and monitor Broadlink smart plugs, power strips and switches. You can turn them on and off, and you can monitor their state and power consumption, when available. These entities are created automatically when you configure a device that has switches. Strange thing is that I have 2 broadlink devices with 4 switches configured for each one. I guess it's a wider issue, as this started to happen for me too.
Broadlink devices stopped working with google?
I did adjust the timeout to 60 seconds before the last restart and it worked, maybe that helped. Recently I purchased a Broadlink rm4 Pro in hopes of ‘modernizing’ my house. This idea came after the countless times over the years where I forgot to bring my gate remote control out with me, hence having to climb the gate. We own the largest IR database in the world with support of 10W+ remotes and 3751 appliance brands. For old/awkward devices another possibility is to try to get codes by using data gathered by the LIRC project. It is also possible to obtain codes using broadlink_cli from python-broadlink project.

The app did not find my remote device on my 2.4ghz wifi and i had to first connect to its own wifi then back to mine then it worked. However, i have 2 major problems. The widgets dont work at all. I cant add the scenes which i defined.
Download these GitHub files. Make sure you place them in the \Python27 path in Windows. Be sure that the getBroadlinkSharedData.py from the download is in this directory. Download and install Python 2.7 on your windows PC.
You need to edit the script with your RM Pro IP Address and MAC Address and with the code in HEX format. When run the script, you know the code works when get message. Code sent… Not every code works. The light entities allow you to control Broadlink lights. You can turn them on and off, change brightness, adjust the color or set a color temperature. These entities are created automatically when you configure a device that has lights.
The correct device was found, installed and is working ever since . I have, in a way, found a solution for my device in my environment. Mine worked perfectly and then stopped.
There are two different apps, the new one has limited control for TVs etc over Google Home, the old one works just fine. Make sure to also change the Google Home linked accounts when changing apps. Learning RF Frequency, press and hold the button to learn...
The other 2 have just reverted to unavailable. I have 3 broadlink remote units. 2 RM Minis and 1 Universal Remote.
